Embedded System 

A Computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system is basically called an embedded system. Such larger mechanical or electrical system will have real time computing constraints. It is embedded and a part of the complete device which many times include hardware and mechanical parts. Embedded systems are very commonly used these days in many applications.
